Aim: How did new farming methods develop during the British agriculture revolution lead to an increase in England population size?
New farming methods developed during the British Agricultural Revolution in which led to an increase in England's population. There was an increase in England's population because food wasn't as scarce anymore compared to their previous life due to an increase in agriculture, a.k.a. plantation. One farming method created was by the name of Jethro Tull. He created a new agricultural method called "seed drill." The machine is able to dig up part of the soil and lay down seeds in a row, allowing space for the plants to grow. Once the seeds are laid down, a slight covering of soil goes back on top of the seeds, for fertilization to happen. The seed drill simply made farm life much more efficient with time also accuracy.
